The Spiritual Injection - Data Protection Privacy Notice
The Spiritual Injection (hereby referred to in this document as TSI) is an online platform for the provision of events that inspire creativity and innovation. TSI must therefore process your personal data so that it can provide its products and services. In doing so, TSI acts as a data controller. TSI may utilise external agencies such as GetResponse, Eventbrite and Jus-tickets who act as data processors, managing your data on our behalf.
You may provide your personal details to TSI directly, such as via:
- an attendance register (e.g. via Zoom, Eventbrite, Jus-tickets ...) a registration form (paper, email, online or otherwise), or an agent of ours registering you for an event with your consent.

- our Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp platforms or other social media platforms
- person-to-person, through our online and street outreach personnel who distribute TSI materials.
TSI must have a legal basis for processing your personal data. For the purposes of providing you with services and/or information relating to TSI, we will only use your personal data in accordance with the terms of the following statement:
1. Collection and use of personal data
a. Purpose of processing and legal basis
TSI will collect and process your personal data for the purposes of providing you with information, products and/or services. These may include for example, contacting you about upcoming meetings and events, informing you of webcasts or other web-based events, fundraising appeals and general notifications.
b. Legitimate Interest
TSI must have a legitimate reason to hold and process your data and provided in a manner you would reasonably expect from us. We deem that by providing us with your name, address, telephone, email, other contact details and some preference information, you are actively seeking information, services and/or products of TSI. We will also only retain personal information which we deem integral to successfully forming products and services that are of benefit to you.
c. Recipients of data
By providing your personal data to TSI it may be processed and shared only with the following recipients:

2. Security of Your data
TSI will ensure that adequate protections are in place to secure the storing and any transmission of your data. TSI personnel will periodically undergo training to ensure adherence to policies and procedures to ensure awareness of new/updated legislation.
3. Data Retention
TSI will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary. Different laws require us to keep different data for different periods of time. Where TSI has obtained your consent to process your personal data, we will do so in line with our retention policy of storing data for five years after our last contact with you. Upon expiry of that period TSI will seek further consent from you. Where consent is not granted TSI will cease to process your personal data and it will be permanently deleted (unless the laws mentioned above prohibits us from doing this at that time).

There may be circumstances where TSI will still need to process your data for legal or official reasons. We will inform you if this is the case. Where such is unavoidably the case, we will restrict the data to only what is necessary for the purpose of meeting those specific reasons.
If you believe that any of your data that TSI processes is incorrect or incomplete, please contact us using the details above and we will take reasonable steps to check its accuracy and correct it where necessary.
